As you’ll be aware, Medical Education Supervisors have a very important role in the education of trainee doctors. The NHS Leadership Academy and Health Education England are currently developing a training package for Medical Education Supervisors that will enable the integration of effective leadership skills into supervision sessions with all trainees. We intend to make this training and development package available to all Medical Education Supervisors to support and help them achieve this.
To help us better understand the leadership development needs across Medical Education Supervisors, we’d like to hear from current doctors in training. As a doctor in training , your knowledge and feedback will be vital in helping us to develop our offer and impact upon the experience that future trainees have with supervisors.
The focus groups will take place virtually via Skype for Business (you will need access to a tablet, smartphone or laptop with a microphone and a camera) and be led by one of the Academy’s faculty, Louisa Hardman. Sessions will last for 90 minutes. Please use this form to register for one of the below sessions by Wednesday 12 September.
