Eligibility Criteria

The Elevate process is designed to identify strengths and development areas to assist you in preparing for the Executive Director role. You're invited to review yourself against the criteria below. These criteria are for guidance purposes and aim to provide you with information on role requirements. Further validation against requirements should be expected at NHS organisation level as part of any local recruitment processes you may be part of. Applications for Elevate assessments can only be considered for individuals who meet the following criteria.

Criteria 1Appointments to Executive Director roles require an individual to meet certain criteria defined by the Quality and Care Commission . I have read these criteria and believe to the best of my knowledge that I will be able to meet these.

Criteria 2I have completed the SELF ASSESSMENT QUESTIONAIRE and confirm my total score is between 69 and 108. For the purposes of this pilot please complete and upload this irrespective of your score, thank you. I will upload my completed questionnaire in the relevant section later in this application.

Elevate is a development focussed experience, but it also helps to build a diverse talent pool of people who are ready to step into Executive Director Roles. This may be used by NHS organisations to identify people who may be invited to apply for senior leadership positions. You can take part in Elevate without being considered for the talent pool if you wish. However, we encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to be considered for inclusion in the National Talent Pool Pipeline by providing permission for your personal data to be used for this purpose.
